What that translates to - for 90% of people - is that you're slowing down your game to almost a screeching halt almost for the sole purpose of handling disynchronous client/server behavior. In HC, all you have to do is play the correct way, never play with strangers, use the correct class, stat a specific way, and play in the correct difficulty until the correct items can be found - and you'll never die. It's not completely unreasonable to find this playstyle distasteful enough to refuse to rest your faith on your abilities. Someone in HC is going to see a boss pack of stygian dolls and automatically assume it's not where it appears to be and therefore make no plan to attack it. Force us to take the game slower and overall enjoy the game more. We wanted to experience the game as a challenge. ![]() Since resurrected has come out, two of my friends and I have been playing hardcore and hardcore only.
